This article is a great piece on how many people are ‘active’ opposed to ‘passive’ job seekers. Having been an Executive Recruiter for almost 11 years I used to be amazed by the fact that most people are willing to at least hear about if not consider a change. The definition of active versus passive job seekers as changed as well but that is a topic for a different day. I think this highlights the disparity between employer’s perceptions and reality. Additionally, the number of active job seekers changes based on the economy as well. Given how much the market has tightened in the past two years the number of individuals willing to entertain a job change has increased dramatically. Great Read!
